Me and Javiers family flew to Chicago two weeks ago for my sister in laws graduation from the University of Wisconsin in Plateville. We drove from Chicago to Wisconsin (three hour drive) and we were mesmerized by so much snow! Here in Houston we almost never get snow, and if we do it melts as soon as it touches the ground.

The weather was about twelve degrees on the day of the graduation and it began snowing after the ceremony. Believe it or not I kept very warm with my new favorite coat. I love that its dressy so it's perfect for any formal winter occasion. My turtleneck top has also become one of my favorites simply because the bell sleeves give it a sassy touch, and its a very thin sweater so I will be able to wear it in Houston's seventy degree winter weather without melting. If you're looking into investing in new heels, I would highly recommend these studded heels! They are so classy and the most comfortable heels ever! I always get compliments on them when I wear them out. You will love them!

We had a great time in Wisconsin and I am extremely proud of Jennifer for all of her accomplishments! She is truly a beautiful person inside and out, and I wish her the best in this new chapter of her life!

Happy Friday! The weekend is here and I am ready to party...JK! I have so much to do this weekend as our little getaway to Wisconsin is getting closer and closer. One thing is for sure...I won't be able to wear this outfit over there unless I want to become a popsicle. If you live in warm places like Texas or California then you should be familiar with how the weather always changes. One day it can be 40 degrees and the next it could be 70 degrees in December!!! So wearing shorts, mini skirts, and dresses in December here in Texas is completely normal LOL!

Are you guys almost done christmas shopping? I did good this year because I'm only missing three people and then I am done. I will have some christmas gift ideas on the blog next week so stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by! XO
