Its Friday and I'm so excited about tonight because its date night! Me and J are gonna go watch "The Boy". I love horror/thriller movies and I was excited when I saw the trailer for this movie. I am a big fan of Lauren Cohan from "The Walking Dead" which plays the lead role in "The Boy" so I have no doubt the movie will be great.
So last week we drove around the city looking for nice places to shoot and we discovered these little pyramids just a few minutes from downtown. Its actually a park and its so lovely! Definitely a place to visit while in Houston.
One thing i will say about the dress I'm wearing is it wrinkles easily. I love this shirt dress so much but man I can spend minutes ironing the dress and at the end of the day it will look as if i didn't iron it at all. My fur scar has been one of my favorite purchases this winter and this was the first time I actually got to wear it. It has become a staple in my close, and here it goes, the most annoying blogger line ever said but I will say it because its true....it goes with everything :)
What are your plans for the weekend? There are lots of good movies out right now. One that I recommend is "Room". I was invited to an advanced movie screening with Houston fashion bloggers but wasn't able to make it. And now that I finally got the chance to watch it, I have to say that you NEED to watch it. The story of the movie is so powerful! It will shred your heart to pieces! I had never cried watching a movie like I did with this one ever!!! If you have never heard of it, Its about a girl who was kidnapped and held captive for 7 years! And thats not all...she now has a 5 year old from the man that kidnapped her. And thats all I will say because you need to watch it :) Thank you for stopping by and come back next week for more

Valentines day is right around the corner,and if you love getting fancy for your boo like I do, then this dress would be perfect for the occasion. Because the weather in Houston is currently in the high 60's, I can get away with wearing this dress without being cold, but how cute would it look paired with a light pink fur coat? and if you're into the pink and red valentine color combo, you can switch out the metallic heels for red lace-up heels.
