Me and Javiers family flew to Chicago two weeks ago for my sister in laws graduation from the University of Wisconsin in Plateville. We drove from Chicago to Wisconsin (three hour drive) and we were mesmerized by so much snow! Here in Houston we almost never get snow, and if we do it melts as soon as it touches the ground.

The weather was about twelve degrees on the day of the graduation and it began snowing after the ceremony. Believe it or not I kept very warm with my new favorite coat. I love that its dressy so it's perfect for any formal winter occasion. My turtleneck top has also become one of my favorites simply because the bell sleeves give it a sassy touch, and its a very thin sweater so I will be able to wear it in Houston's seventy degree winter weather without melting. If you're looking into investing in new heels, I would highly recommend these studded heels! They are so classy and the most comfortable heels ever! I always get compliments on them when I wear them out. You will love them!

We had a great time in Wisconsin and I am extremely proud of Jennifer for all of her accomplishments! She is truly a beautiful person inside and out, and I wish her the best in this new chapter of her life!

Thanks for stopping by! XO

Happy Friday! The weekend is here and I am ready to party...JK! I have so much to do this weekend as our little getaway to Wisconsin is getting closer and closer. One thing is for sure...I won't be able to wear this outfit over there unless I want to become a popsicle. If you live in warm places like Texas or California then you should be familiar with how the weather always changes. One day it can be 40 degrees and the next it could be 70 degrees in December!!! So wearing shorts, mini skirts, and dresses in December here in Texas is completely normal LOL!

Are you guys almost done christmas shopping? I did good this year because I'm only missing three people and then I am done. I will have some christmas gift ideas on the blog next week so stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by! XO

It is finally starting to feel like winter here in Houston! I hope it stays cool because it tends to get pretty warm sometimes. On days where its warm I like to wear long sleeve dresses with over the knee boots to keep me in the wintery vibes. The dress I am wearing is one of my favorites ever! I have it in black and also in lavender. Although its no longer available those colors you can still get it in the color "wine" which is the one I am wearing, carbon, and royal blue.

I am going to Wisconsin in less than two weeks for my sister in laws graduation and I still have no idea what I am going to pack! I am so excited to see her and her husband and also because this will be my first time getting to experience SNOW! I have never been around so much snow before so I cannot wait!

Thanks for stopping by! XO

Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to share this dressy effortless look with leggings. Lately I have found myself reaching for leggings rather than jeans. They are just so comfy, and easy to dress up and down. I like to dress up my leggings with a blouse and heels/flats and dress them down with an oversized tee and sneakers.

On another note I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I am forever thankful for all my readers and friends I've made in this blogging community. Also, there are so many good deals going on right now, and I listed some of my favorite below. Thank you for reading and be safe this weekend!

Happy Friday! I went to Nordstrom last week, and picked up a few items for winter including this black dress. It is perfect to wear for the upcoming holiday festivities which I am so excited about. I really like that its a swing dress because lets be real, we are going to eat so much, and tight clothes will not look so cute after all the turkey, and pies. It comes in other colors and did I mention that it also has pockets?

You can now shop my instagram outfits without having to sign up with "like to know it". Just click on the "Shop my outfits" tab at the top of my blog then click on the picture you want, and everything will be listed. Stay safe this weekend and don't forget about the time change! Hallelujah to an extra hour of sleep :)

Happy Friday! The day has come...today Nordstrom's anniversary sale is open to everyone so if you didn't have a Nordstrom credit/debit card, you can now shop the sale as well. This sale is highly anticipated because Nordstrom marks down tons of selected items to amazing prices. It is the perfect time to stock up on fall pieces, and this year the sale is SO GOOD!!! I have placed maybe 5 different orders and keep adding things to my "wish list" hoping for them to re-stock.

There are over two thousand items which is a lot to go through so if you're not in the mood to scroll trough them all lucky for you I've rounded up some of the most popular items. You can click on the pictures of the item that interests you and it will take you directly to the link. These items are selling/will sell out quick especially now that the sale is open to everyone so hurry! If you like something don't think about it too long because some items don't get re-stocked...lesson learned from last year :( Also, prices go back up on August 8th.

So which items were your favorites? If you've had your eye on any designer piece like maybe some Tory Burch boots now is the time to splurge on them before they go back up to their original price. Let me know if you would like to see the items I've bought and I will do a separate blog post with my opinion on the items I bought, and sizing reference. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed weekend!
