It feels good to be back after being MIA for a while on my blog. Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I’ve been working a crazy overtime schedule and by the time I’m out of work, it’s too dark outside to take pictures. I usually shoot for my blog over the weekends but it has literally been raining every weekend. This past Sunday we had a little break from the rain so I took advantage and shot this effortless fall look.
For a while, I had been searching for the perfect dark green utility jacket but most of the ones I came across were more of a faded olive color which was not what I was looking for. When I came across this Topshop one, I knew I was taking it home with me! The color is a rich dark green with gold hardware. Aside from the color, the detail that caught my attention was the double zippers because when zipped up, the bottom layer gives you an “I’m wearing a puffer vest underneath” look. If you’re feeling sassy, there’s pull strings inside the jacket to scrunch it up, or you can wear it loose like I did. I received so many compliments when I wore this jacket out. It’s definitely worth the splurge and it also comes in navy.
My cami is also one of my favorite purchases as well. It’s one of those pieces of clothing that you have to buy in every color because they are that good! They go with everything and you can dress them up or down. I have it in black as well and hope they re-stock the other colors soon. If you’ve been searching for brown boots, you NEED these Dolce Vita boots in your life. The heel is less than 4 inches so they are comfy and the best part is that they are on sale for over $100 off!!
My thanksgiving break starts tomorrow and I cannot wait to catch up on some sleep. I look forward to spending time with my family and stuffing my face with turkey. In my case i always wait till the last minute minly because i dont know what to buy for my loved ones. Here's a tip: Always keep an ear out troughout the year because they will drop hints of what they want or they'll post about it on social media.
